Before you book
Under Brazilian Federal Law no. 8,069 of 13 July 1990, minors (under 16) may not stay at the hotel without their parents unless they have a document authorising their stay. A written authorisation from both parents, with signatures certified by a notary, must therefore be handed in at check-in, stating the arrival and departure dates, the reason for the minor's stay and the parents' contact phone numbers, PROVIDED THAT AN ADULT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MINOR DURING THEIR STAY AT THE HOTEL.
All children and teenagers must present an identity document (RG) or birth certificate at check-in.
